Most WordPress sites fail on mobile for the same three reasons. Here is how to find them and fix them in order.

Start with the numbers

Before changing anything, write down where you are today: load time on a mid-range phone, enquiries per month and the pages people actually visit. Without a baseline you cannot tell what worked.

Mobile load time
Before: 4.2 After: 1.9s
Enquiries / month
Before: 18 After: 37

Fix the biggest problem first

Tools list dozens of warnings. Ignore most of them and fix the one thing that costs the most: usually images, a heavy page builder or a slow host.

  • Measure on a real phone, not only in a lab
  • Change one thing at a time
  • Re-measure after every change

Keep it fast

Speed is not a one-off project. Add a monthly check to your routine and set a budget for page weight so new features do not undo the work.
